Meet The Team

Drew started dance classes at the age of 7, a while after he also started taking classes in drama and musical theatre, along with attending DAODS Youth Theatre and Gravesend and District Theatre Guild Youth Group he knew this is what he wanted to do. He enjoyed his sixth form studies in performing arts with Be. Training, and now trains at Bird College. He takes part in local amateur dramatic productions, most recently playing Jamie in 'Everybody's talking about Jamie'. He is thrilled to teaching with the ZAPA family.

​Zara, from a young age, has always been involved in the performing arts industry, specifically drama. At the age of 11, Zara performed in the West End show ‘Billy Elliot the Musical’ and since then trained at the prestigious London schools; Arts Ed and Central School of Speech and Drama, to pursuit her dream of becoming an Actor. Following graduation, Zara is now working professionally across the industry and enjoys teaching and inspiring the next generation of performers.

Becca teaches dance because it’s the most rewarding experience ever! Watching their faces light up as they learn to move and express themselves is magical. Dance gives them a chance to be silly, explore their creativity, and build confidence in a fun environment. Every class feels like a mini celebration, and she loves being part of the children's journey as they discover the magic of dance! She has been performing for over 13 years, and even though she has headed to University to study International Relations, she's committed to keeping the dance floor alive and continuing performing! She comes to visit as often as she can and is still very much involved.

Kayleigh's passion for dance started with “good toes naughty toes” at the age of three. She has danced many different styles including ballet, tap, street, contemporary and musical theatre. She's currently studying dance GCSE and has already completed her dance leader’s qualification. It’s always been her biggest dream to teach classes and working at ZAPA has made that dream come true. She loves working at ZAPA because she loves to see others get the same enjoyment from performing arts that she have always had. Kayleigh succesfully auditioned for Pantomime in 2024 and was part of the Senior Ensemble team in Jack & the Beanstalk at Woodville Halls. She has also been accepted in the Be. Training programme.

Esther graduated from Millennium Performing Arts in 2020, gaining a degree in Musical Theatre. She has performed professionally across the UK, including as a vocalist for The Stage and Production House, as a dancer for comedian Jack Whitehall at the O2 Arena, and has appeared in a variety of professional shows and pantomimes. Most recently, Esther travelled the world working for Princess Cruises in the role of Cruise Director; compering theatre showtimes, hosting the onboard television show, and performing her own vocal cabaret sets. She was also responsible for the planning and coordination of the entertainment programme for their 2024 World Cruise. Esther has taught all disciplines of Performing Arts at dance schools, theatre academies and in primary schools across Kent and South East London and is very excited to have joined the ZAPA family

Lilly started gymnastics when she was 5 years old and began coaching at 15. She’s been with school for 2 years and really enjoys working with the children and seeing them progress. She’s so exited to be starting her journey at ZAPA!

Along side teaching at ZAPA, Gracie graduated her Be. Training programme and has begun her journey at London School of Music. She loves being part of the ZAPA family where she can

live out her dream teaching the younger generation.

Kate has been teaching Performing Arts for 20 happy years! She started dance at the young age of 2 & found a life long love! Growing up Kate gained her ISTD examinations up to Advanced 1 in Ballet, Tap, Modern Dance & National Dance. She gained a scholarship at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts when it was based at the Barbican where she gained a National Diploma in theatre arts and her CDE in ballet & modern. Kate enjoyed touring London as part of a TIE company performing Shakespeare plays, a little TV extra work, dancer for Gareth Gates at The Pop Idol concert at Wembley & toured for several years singing as part of a Pop duo. She loves teaching at a variety of schools & feels blessed to work with children. She is so excited to join the ZAPA family!

Kenzie graduated from Urdang Academy with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Musical Theatre and Dance. Alongside teaching children and young people aged 3–18, she has built a professional performance career, with credits including Netflix’s Bridgerton, The Good Ship Murder, and The Royal Ballet’s The Nutcracker at the Royal Albert Hall.

Passionate about creating a supportive environment where every child can develop confidence, creativity, and a love for dance, she brings training across a wide range of dance styles and a warm, energetic teaching approach to every class. Kenzie aims to make lessons engaging, encouraging, and fun, and she is thrilled to be joining ZAPA to help every student grow in confidence and reach their full potential.
